I lost. With Jazz Hands.

I could not have lost to a more worthy and gorgeous friend. Mercedes M. Yardley is talented and wonderful and all that’s light in the world. She’s also all that’s dark in the best ways possible. I’m thrilled to call her friend and to have actually met her in real life. You are all free to envy me now.
If you are interested in the backstory, you can read that blog post here.
Long story short: I lost a wager and had to put a portion of myself singing Sweet Child O Mine with jazz hands on YouTube.
If you’d rather see a thirteen-year-old PLAY THE ENTIRE SONG ON GUITAR watch this video: (Really, you don’t really want to watch mine. This boy does it much better. I have to post it on the blog because I lost the bet.)
Here’s mine. Whatever. I mess up.
WOW! That was…amazing(ly brave of you)!!
You rock.
Thanks, Linda. I’m not a singer, so…yeah. : )
This video makes me supremely happy.
This is the coolest video in the world.
The moral of the story is: never challenge Mercedes when jazz hands are on the line.
Okay, maybe the moral should just be never challenge Mercedes. Like, ever.
But then we wouldn’t have joyous little YouTube vids like this one…. I think I’m conflicted.
Thank you all for being gentle.
If I ever get drunk and put myself singing on the internet, you’ll feel like a rock star. Trust me.
You. Are. A. STUD.
My jazz hands are off to you. (Okay, not in a gross way. I mean, they’re still attached and all. There’s no blood or anything.)
Anyway, you rock.
A.
I LOVE YOU SO HARD!!!!!

lol, Great, great, great!
Thank you. I needed that
Again, thank you all for being kind. I’ll do better the next time I sing on the internet, which will be never.
Awww. *giggles*
I almost forgot to watch this but I’m so glad I did.
No glass broke, so you sing better than me.
xo
You are a very good friend . . . and Mercedes is an inspiration to all of us who follow her
This is just great. I shall challenge Mercedes not because my jazz hands are rather long and spidery and would look like canned confetti spray.
Oh, and I’d never sing on the interwebz. Like, NEVER EVER. Just goes to show how AWESOME Harley is.
Haha I crawl out from under my rock and see I missed this awesome post
LOVE IT
